AWS Solution Architect

Hi! We are Tameshi and our team is thriving in the AWS cloud. We run projects for large Polish and international clients from the financial, FMCG or telecom sectors. We advise, analyze and migrate to the cloud. We are an AWS Advanced Partner and AWS Partner of the year 2022 in the CEE.

We are looking for an ambitious Solutions Architect to join our team, who will work alongside our clients to design and build, or redesign, business-critical, cloud-native applications, fully leveraging the capabilities offered by the AWS platform.

Expected tech stack:

AWS: CloudFormation, IAM, Route 53, S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, EKS, VPC, and others
Other: Windows / Linux along with related services (e.g., Active Directory, Kerberos, NFS, etc.), Kubernetes, Elastic (ELK stack/OpenSearch), Apache, JBoss, HAProxy, Draw.io, GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef

Certification:

Minimum SAA (Readiness to pass SAP)

Responsibilities:

Designing and integrating high-performance and high-availability systems based on or composed of: AWS services, Kubernetes, Elastic (ELK stack/OpenSearch), Apache, JBoss, HAProxy
Designing CI/CD solutions (AWS Developer Tools, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
Leading engineering teams to implement solutions guided by a defined architectural vision
Participating in estimations for engineering work
Engaging with business stakeholders to understand the business and technical requirements for the project
Developing system quality attributes, such as performance, scalability, availability, fault tolerance, security, maintainability, and others
Knowledge of configuration management systems (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.)

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Terraform
Software development experience (principles, tools, methodologies)
Hands-on experience with cloud migration and systems configuration
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Ruby, Python, or Go
Knowledge of competing public clouds (GCP or Azure)
Experience in designing data architectures
Knowledge of and experience with services such as: Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Lambda
Designing Data Lake / Data Warehouse / Data Mesh in the AWS environment
Knowledge of data modeling, DataOps, Data Governance, and Data Security
Experience with Big Data frameworks (Spark, PySpark) or BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

Soft skills you’ll need:

English and Polish - this is essential, as most of our projects require collaborating with clients in these languages.
Organization and time management (your own and sometimes the team's) - we are task-driven, so accurate time estimation and meeting deadlines are highly valued.
